MG6 - UK Specification Car appearing at MPH Show at the NEC in November

Citroen Concept C-ZERO Electric Car
It looks very familiar, but its pretty new. Its the future Citroen C-Zero - a new 100% electric, zero CO2 emissions and zero noise vehicle, set to be released in the last-quarter 2010. The C-ZERO uses a permanent magnet synchronous motor making 47kW (64bhp) between 3,000rpm and 6,000rpm. Peak power is 180Nm produced between 0 and 2,000rpm. A 330-volt lithium-ion battery comprised of 88 50Ah cells (for onboard energy of 16kWh) feeds the motor. The whole system works with a single-speed reduction gear transferring power to the rear wheels. Performance figures are 15 seconds for the 0 - 100km/h sprint while a range of about 130km (80 miles) is anticipated. Luffield MG host "An Evening with Bridget"...... 14th April 2010...
On Wednesday 14th April, Luffield MG hosted the East Midlands regional venue for Roy Lococks second, in his current round of talks about his incredible 39,000 mile, round the world trip in “Bridget the Midget”a journey visiting 27 countries. Beginning in the English village of Chinnor in June 2008 and finishing at Abingdon in October 2009, Roy took the Chunnel to France, motored across Europe to Istanbul, drove through Turkey, Iran, then on to India, ferried to Australia, then another ferry to Argentina, and finally north to the U.S. and Canada. Through it all, he's been raising money for UNICEF…… Roy entertained and informed 57 guests from the MG Car Club and Luffield MG Customers about his various exploits, interesting meetings and a variety of weather conditions along the way. Despite the mixed road conditions from the mud tracks in India, flooded roads in Australia and the heat of Death Valley in Nevada, Roy's little 1977 MG Midget conquered them all with a little help from MG Clubs around the world. At the moment, although fully engrossed with writing a book, Roy's plans for Trip number 2 are still un planned.
