MG to compete in 2012 British Touring Car
Championship |

MG Motor UK today announced it will enter the 2012 BTCC
Series with a ‘dream team’ of cars, drivers, constructors and sponsors.
Two MG6 GT cars will run in the all-new MG KX Momentum Racing
team piloted by double BTCC champion Jason Plato and BTCC rising star
Andy Neate.
The cars will be prepared by Triple Eight Race Engineering, one of the
most successful constructors in touring car racing. And completing the
‘dream team’ are principal sponsors Tesco Fuels with their Momentum 99
brand and KX energy drink completing an all-British line-up.
MG KX Momentum Racing will debut at Brands Hatch on April 1 when the
2012
Dunlop MSA BTCC championship season gets under way.

Luffield Runners Up in the Citroen Top Dealer
2011 Challenge |
Luffield Cars are delighted to have achieved second place in Citroen's
prestigious "Top Dealer Challenge 2011"
The challenge required
outstanding performance in all areas of the business including Sales,
Service and Parts, along with the requirement that both the Sales and
Service Department had to be in the top quartile for their Customer
Satisfaction Scoring to even be considered!
With over 180 Citroen Dealers in the UK, it shows that all our
members of staff have worked extremely hard and delivered excellent
customer service to achieve such a high position.
The award will be presented by Mr Frederic Banzet, Managing Director
of Automobiles Citroen, at a Gala Dinner in Paris next month.
We would like to say a big thank you to everybody involved in

The Great British Charity Test Drive |
MG are taking a fleet 30 MG6's around the UK on the ‘Great British
Charity Test Drive’ in support of Macmillan Cancer Support and
Help for Heroes.
For every MG6 test drive that takes place before the end of September
2011, MG will donate £5 to one of the chosen charities.
In addition to the £5 donation to charity, MG will be providing a
further incentive to those who test drive our car with a 2-4-1
voucher for a 'Great British Day Out'. This will provide a 12 month
unlimited use pass to over 250 UK attractions.
The vehicle convoy will be in the Luffield area from the 21st - 28th
September with the following stops already organised:

"Luffield" iPhone App... |
To ensure that our IT Solutions remain at the forefront of the latest
technology, Luffield Cars approached
AppCreatives in early 2011 to discuss creating an Application
that allowed users to search all of their used cars by franchise, model
or price on the new range of Smart Phones.
Following several conversations,
AppCreatives offered the definitive solution and quickly created
the first trial with a fully functional Used Car Stock listing which was
a specific requirement of the company.
The final result is that our newly launched
iPhone application is
designed to make searching for your ideal car, booking a test drive or a
service, finding the Luffield Cars dealership, or just contacting us for
help or advice as easy as possible.
The site will also contain regular special offers for the product
rich range of New Citroen Cars & Vans.
The app is also featured on a short 'YouTube'
Video. video which explains how it was created and contains a
simple user guide.
To download the App onto your iPhone, just go to the "App Store" and
type in Luffield in the search criteria. The download is totally
Free and you will be able to view the current stock listing within
minutes.

Luffield Citroen team celebrate Customer Service success |
| The After Sales Service team at Luffield Cars, the Citroen dealership on
Belton Road in Loughborough, are celebrating in style after winning a
£1000 prize at Citroen Dealer of the Year Awards. Luffield Cars were runners up in the
Dealer of the Year award
for the UK Central region, Large Dealer Category for After Sales service
and received a “Highly Commended” Award status.
“The results were based on customer satisfaction
research,” says Service Manager,
Neil Offler, “so the award is
based on a lot of hard work and represents brilliant recognition of the
Luffield team’s effort. Over the seven years that many of us have been
working together, we’ve built up some strong relationships with our
customers and we know that this works – for them and also for the
friends and family that they recommend to us too.”
The After Sales team’s work includes putting together offers and
deals that encourage not only Citroen owners but also other local car
owners to use their services. “At the moment,
we’re offering things like a lubrication service for under £90 and half
price MOTs when they’re done in tandem with selected Luffield services,”
says Neil. “The
other key seasonal service, now that the worst of the bad weather is
done, is to check out air conditioning systems and make sure that
they’re working well. Air con can increase fuel consumption which, with
prices as they are, is no joke. For only £55, including the VAT, our
customers can be sure that their air con is working efficiently and
ready for summer.”

MG Announce Prices for the new MG6 Fastback |
The first press driving events are due to take place during week
commencing 14th March with
the most influential car journalists driving and photographing the cars.
Autocar, Auto Express,Sunday Times and Trinity Mirror Group amongst
others will be in attendance.
The press are taking the cars from the factory out through the Cotswolds
and stopping at Mallory Court
Hotel giving them a good 80 mile driving route which shows off the cars
abilities and gives great British backdrops for photography. Reaction
from the journalists has been very positive with the cars looking superb
and performing very well.

Designed to exceed the highest

As with the New C5 in 2008 and New C3 earlier this
year, the New Citroën C4 once again demonstrates the expertise of

With its sculpted lines and high quality finish,
New C4 cuts a distinctive profile, striking an impression of
strength, stability and balanced proportions. Defined and flowing
surfaces, such as the purposeful front end and rear spoiler, hint at
the model’s optimised aerodynamics. The tasteful addition of chrome
detailing combines with the dynamic headlight styling and sculpted
alloy wheels to give the new model a premium presence.

their driving patterns and fuel consumption, and receive advice on how
to improve their fuel economy. The system also allows drivers to
consult their vehicle’s technical status and monitor any necessary
maintenance or servicing requirements.

car, New C4 uses
the latest Citroën technology to reduce its environmental impact. New
C4 will be available with Citroën’s new micro-hybrid e-HDi powertrains,
which feature the latest generation Stop & Start system that helps
deliver CO2 emissions as low as 109g/km at
launch - and 99g/km on future models. Michelin Energy™ Saver tyres are
also specified to help achieve these low emissions
and to boost fuel economy. The control of the car’s overall weight - in
spite of the increased dimensions and added equipment - has been
achieved using new technologies, such as laser welding, in the model’s
construction. The use of 15% ‘green’ materials - for example, re-cycled
polyamide components - also enhances New C4’s environmental credentials.
